About the Role
- Operational Setup & Collaboration - Design lean and efficient operational structures in the region, ensure seamless cross-factory and cross-country collaboration, and optimize sales and proposal procedures to drive productivity improvements and efficiency.
- Bid Strategy, Business Models & Agreements - Cooperate closely with the regional sales team to develop competitive bid strategies, competitive pricing analysis, optimized business models and value streams, and participate in negotiations and management of distribution and agency agreements.
- Business Development - Identify new business opportunities, expand the customer base, and strengthen market presence in the U.S.
- Commercial Risk, Compliance & Governance - Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate commercial risks, including business models, legal considerations, currency exposure for multi-currency deals, financial securities, payment terms, insurance, export control, compliance requirements, legal risks, and coordinate bid release workflows while ensuring accuracy and compliance with business guidelines.
- Offer Validation & Contractual Clarification - Validate offer calculations for completeness and accuracy and provide commercial and contractual clarification on terms and conditions.
- Financial Control & Reporting - Monitor expenses, ensure cost efficiency, and provide transparency and analysis in financial reporting.
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales administration, bid management, and contract negotiations.
- Strong analytical skills for validating offers, assessing commercial risks, clarifying commercial and contractual terms, and supporting informed decision-making.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to develop competitive bid strategies and business models, supported by a proven track record in business development and customer diversification.
- Experience in designing lean operational setups, improving workflows, and demonstrating excellent collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional and cross-country teams.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, CRM tools, and advanced Excel for cost tracking and reporting, combined with strong negotiation skills and fluency in English (additional languages a plus).
