About the Role
- Lead projects from design initiation through final documentation, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to develop optimized engineering solutions for power generation systems.
- Provide technical support to customers on excitation and control equipment, including troubleshooting and system upgrades.
- Contribute to the training and development of other specialist engineers.
- Support ongoing product development efforts by participating in testing, validation, and process improvement initiatives.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the Hotline Support Team, resolving technical inquiries and providing guidance.
- Travel to customer sites (up to 30%) for data collection, commissioning, and system validation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 5+ years of electrical engineering experience within power generation, oil & gas, or industrial automation environments.
- Strong knowledge of power electronics, power generation, transmission systems, and electrical machines.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results within deadlines.
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a customer-focused mindset.
