- Lead the on-site execution of construction projects, ensuring compliance with Siemens Energy standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Plan, organize, and control end-to-end project delivery, including project scope definition, project setup and strategy, design coordination and approvals, tendering and contractor selection, execution oversight, and adherence to schedules and budgets.
- Manage project teams and external partners, assign responsibilities, develop project schedules, determining resource requirements, integrating vendor tasks, and overseeing externally appointed consultants and their deliverables.
- Monitor, report, and communicate project performance, ensuring accurate and timely reporting on cost, schedule, quality, staffing, risks, and progress, and contributing to regular status reports and management presentations in accordance with Siemens Energy standards & policies.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate construction and project-related risks, safeguard data quality and ownership, preventing financial losses, non-compliance, cost overruns, and schedule delays, and supporting operational emergency management activities.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders at site level, acting as the primary interface with local authorities for permitting and construction-related topics and ensuring effective communication across all project stakeholders.
- Driving continuous improvement, digitalization, and sustainability initiatives, collaborating with the Digital Acceleration team to maximize the use of digital tools and automation, optimizing project management processes, enable data-driven decision-making, and support energy efficiency, renewable integration, and green building practices across Siemens Energy Real Estate.
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in construction engineering, civil engineering, MEP engineering, architecture, or a related field. Project management certification (e.g., PMP, IPMA, or equivalent) and experience in construction contract management are considered an advantage.
- 3+ years of project management experience in the execution of construction projects for industrial facilities, preferably within international and multicultural corporate environments.
- Strong understanding of the design, construction, and deliverability of industrial facilities, with the ability to manage projects across multiple functional areas.
- Proven management capability with strong stakeholder management and communication skills, essential for coordinating complex projects and diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in multinational and multicultural teams, supported by strong interpersonal skills, analytical thinking and creativity, and drive at a mid-to-high level. Proficient in written and verbal English for business purposes.
- Willingness to relocate to and work on-site in Jackson, Mississippi on a regular basis (full relocation support provided).
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
While this role may be advertised in multiple locations, regular on-site presence in Jackson, MS is a core requirement of the position.
