A Snapshot of Your Day:
As an EHS Manager in Projects at Siemens Energy, you will target proactive candidates with 3-6 years of experience in environmental, health, and safety management, particularly in power plant outages and the oil & gas sector. You will lead meaningful initiatives such as the implementation of the Zero Harm Program and the development of EHS strategies, significantly impacting team culture and promoting a commitment to safety and environmental stewardship. Expect to collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with safety regulations while contributing to Siemens Energy’s mission of delivering sustainable energy solutions.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
  • Implement the Zero Harm Program to foster a positive EHS culture on-site.
  • Achieve EHS focus area roadmaps and essential metrics.
  • Minimize environmental impact through comprehensive control measures at project sites.
  • Monitor EHS procedures during outage activities, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Lead in-house training for field service teams on health and safety issues and risks.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
What You Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science.
  • 3–6 years of EHS experience in power plant outages or oil & gas.
  • NEBOSH IGC certification; NEBOSH Diploma or ASP/CSP certifications are advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of local EHS legislation, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 requirements.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in dynamic, fast-paced project environments and willingness to travel internationally up to 20% per year.
About the Team:
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
