We are looking for an individual with broad and significant experience in offshore wind to join our global operations organisation to identify and deliver on opportunities and provide support to our Operations Leadership Team to drive global operational performance and financial delivery within our operational portfolio.

In the role of Senior Programme Manager you will be adaptable and seek out and own opportunities to move the needle and drive offshore operations forward, working with and between our operational Regions and Functions. You will play an important part in our Operations Leadership Team providing insight & direction and will also support and deliver on long-term development activities and programmes, as well as provide clarity on operational performance topics and metrics across our global portfolio with a focus on enterprise Risk & Opportunity management. You will be a leader in offshore wind, with significant experience in delivering high performance operations and designing operational delivery models always with people and safety at their core.

You will be based in one of our operational countries or from home and will spend time working with our people at our operational sites.

How to contribute to our vision

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Portfolio Enterprise Risk & Opportunity Manager and coordinator of all associated R&O items and mitigation/maximisation thereof within our global operations.
  • Programme Management of key strategic projects, supporting and guiding our teams to deliver, including those associated with long-term people, investment and system strategies.
  • Lead in alignment of core topics across Offshore Execution and Service to maximise the synergies available from our organisation.
  • Operations owner of our Availability Forecasting System and associated operational modelling and inputs to drive our financial systems and forecasts.
  • Oversee and manage our NCC improvement critical activities and management.
  • Ownership of Real Estate and other central topics for the team.
  • Lead our strategic supply chain interface to ensure we deliver on our customer commitments.
  • Assist with developing our management templates and preparing for management sessions.
  • Take ownership of emerging topics and projects as required by the Operations Leadership team to deliver change and performance improvement.

What you need to make a difference

Besides a passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change, we are also looking for:

  • Ideally Master‘s degree within Engineering or Business.
  • 10+ years of experience in offshore wind with experience in service strategy and industrialisation
  • Strong commercial experience and track record in delivering strong financial results.
  • Extensive Project Management experience and a track record in successfully delivering projects and programmes.
  • Strong communication and broad stakeholder influencing skills.
  • Product technical knowledge of wind turbines is an advantage.
  • Ability to travel to various locations in order to support projects and people (10-30%).
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
