We are looking for dedicated safety experts to join our team, to serve as HSE (Health Safety Environment) Tender Manager in Siemens Gamesa Wind Turbine projects in the acquisition phase in OF EXE (Offshore execution) region globally.

The HSE Tender Manager is providing support on Health, Safety, and Environment topics to Sales organizations globally during the acquisition phase of the project. The HSE Tender manager acts as an HSE expert and partner in reviewing, coordinating, developing, and implementing HSE requirements into our Sales activities; ensuring that early identification of hazards takes place and that the organization's HSE policy, standards, and procedures are implemented within the contractual framework and compliance of local HSE legislation.

The HSE Tender Manager coordinates internally and externally with stakeholders to ensure that contractual agreements can be achieved, and best practices are implemented about promoting a safety culture and reducing safety risks.

The HSE Tender Manager supports the continued implementation of ONE Siemens Gamesa approach across regions and projects and increasing customer satisfaction

How to contribute to our vision

  • Initiate project-specific HSE documentation and prepare responses to client pre-qualification, tenders, and HSE-related technical queries within the Sales phase.

  • Communication and Negotiating with stakeholders to ensure that effective HSE processes are defined, mutually agreed, and implemented within the Turbine Supply Agreements

  • Coordination with various internal departments and any associated third-party organizations to ensure that various proposed HSE contractual conditions/requirements can be achieved

  • Facilitate and coordinate HSE internal and external audits and/or assessments to support the client's HSE pre-qualification process

  • Review of incoming HSE tender documentation, analyze risk and define requirements, production of HSE sections of outgoing tender documentation. Initiate the development of project HSE plans and relevant project-specific documentation

  • Identify potential HSE risks and opportunities from non-standard tender obligations, define the appropriate mitigation actions (e.g., and escalate to the Sales Manager for integration in the approval process as required.

  • Development and delivery of company presentations to stakeholders, including the provision of HSE presentations within the due diligence workshops. Provide a mechanism for sharing with clients our operational best practices and continuous improvement in HSE

  • Participate in internal and external Sales project workshops as required (e.g., Lessons Learned, Sales Excellence, Project handover meetings etc.)

  • Ensure a legal requirements verification is performed for countries/ states/ regions of proposed Sales bids; identify any additional local HSE requirements and advise Sales team of any implications (i.e., cost, time, resources)

  • Support with trainings on relevant Sales HSE topics

  • Support implementation of HSE processes in Sales phase in projects globally

  • Standardization and continuous improvement of HSE standard schedules and documentation

  • Work will primarily be home or office based, but some travel for operational needs will be expected.

What you need to make a difference

  • Significant experience with operational HSE knowledge and international HSE - legislation, and industry standards.

  • Understanding of ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 (International Organization for Standardization) frameworks

  • NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) Diploma or Equivalent (required)

  • Grad IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) or CMIOSH (Chartered Member of Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) (Preferred)

  • Experience of participating in contractual reviews and developing EHS documentation

  • Experience in participating in technical risk management workshops (i.e., HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Analysis), HAZID (Hazard Identification Study)

  • Analytical competence regarding identifying risks, and absorbing/understanding contractual terminology and documentation

  • Basic understanding of commercial impacts and contract management arrangements.

  • Understanding and utilizing of project management skills to coordinate resources drawn from across the business

  • Knowledge of contract management and contractual frameworks

  • Experience of leading and supporting internal audits at system and project level

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and workload to work towards deadlines

  • Excellent communication (written, verbal, and listening); coaching, mentoring, and influencing key stakeholders

  • Ability to work competently as part of the Sales project team(s)

  • Excellent stakeholder and customer management experience provider; with ability to deliver excellent customer experience
