If yes, we are looking for a Fleet Coordinator for our subregion 1, supporting UK&IE onshore wind turbine service business. This role reports to the Site Logistics & Parts Area Lead, and works within resource management and planning team.

You will be responsible for the efficient management of our existing fleet of leased and rented service vans and pick-ups along with sourcing any new requirements and replacement vehicles. Communication at all levels is extremely important as is the ability to work as part of a team to enhance our service to our customers.

Main purpose of the role: You will be responsible for the strategic management of commercial vehicles used to support the service and maintenance of onshore wind turbine generators within the Ireland and the UK.

As a Fleet Coordinator your main responsibility will be the management of some 200 pick-ups and vans to ensure that our team of service technicians, logistics, health and safety, supervisors and managers and are provided with vehicles that are safe, fit for purpose and cost effectively managed so as to not negatively impact service operations.

Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:

  • Sourcing of new and replacement fleet vehicles

  • Managing an existing fleet of over 200 service vans and 4x4 pick ups

  • Accident management

  • Recharge reports including damages and fines

  • Fuel Card management

  • Invoice management

  • Tender preparation

  • Major repair management

  • Improve cost efficiency across existing and new fleet

  • Best practice standardization across the sub-region and wider NE&ME

  • Implementation of safety, productivity and cost saving initiatives

  • Driver behavior initiatives

  • Key point of contact for vehicle providers

  • Fleet management experience in a similar role

  • A natural interest in cars would be an advantage

  • A self-motivated individual with ability to work under tight deadlines

  • Being able to communicate with external and internal stakeholders in all levels of the organization

  • Being able to manage multiple topics at the same time

  • A good eye for cost efficiency and high safety standards

  • The role can be based anywhere in the UK/Ireland – either in one of our multiple offices and Service centers or remotely at home with occasional travel to attend meetings and sites in the UK and Ireland
