Position Overview:

  • Lead the team technical topics in the Service Portfolio supporting all SOM of the Portfolio

  • Responsible for coordinating the technical escalation path and fast response to activities carried out at the facilities.

  • Enforce a focus on safe work

  • Responsible for analysis of causes of wind turbine shutdown. Identify the root cause and implement solution(s).

  • Manage action plans for technical aspects as applicable

  • Main objective to ensure that the operations are carried out in a productive and safe manner that guarantee the profitability of contracts while also fulfilling contractual agreements with clients

  • Travel required: up to 10%

  • Relocation will not be offered for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Technical Escalation process - Responsible for tracking and escalating unscheduled incidents at wind farms (troubleshooting),

  • Identifying the wind turbines or platforms with consistent faults based on information received from the client,

  • Remote control or My Availabiliy /GRT and assigning activities to technical personnel performing this assignment based on their criticality and taking into account the contracts with clients (including solutions management of response to technical cases)

  • Operate as an extension of the Service Operations Manager on technical issues. This means interacting with customers and other stakeholders as necessary

  • Lead strategic initiatives designed to improve the way we perform the servicing of our wind farms

  • Support / interface with Aftermarket Sales

  • Support in the undertaking of special activities, in person and/or remotely

  • Project management of small to medium projects related to fleet improvements and integrity including, but not limited to Modifications & Upgrades on existing and out of contract projects

  • Subject Matter Expert on Case Management in Service including monitoring and management of cases in the applicable systems such as Salesforce and Advice-to-Site

  • Support training of applicable project roles in the Case Management Process and utilization of respective systems while working with Fleet Support and Technical Cases

  • Supporting the management of our wind service contracts

  • Contribute to a continuous focus on improving the project Health, safety, environment and quality management of turbines and personnel.

  • Responsible for the daily Wind Turbine Down report as well as Focal Point of their area at Wind Turbine Down meetings

  • Technical Assistance to the Maintenance Team

Required Knowledge/Skill, Education, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Project scheduling

  • Project budgeting

  • MS Office & products (Excel, Word, Outlook, Projects & Vision)

  • SAP

  • Power BI
