We are looking for a Senior Operations Coordinator to join our Joint Operations Centre in the Northern Europe & Middle East Offshore Service team, reporting into the Head of Operational Planning and Coordination.
This is a new role for the UK Service organisation therefore in the short term you will be assisting in the development of the systems and tools required to standardise our site coordination activities.
As a Senior Operations Coordinator you will be Liaising with all the Offshore UK sites to understand current coordination activities and identifying opportunities for centralisation and standardisation.
This will be an exciting and varied role where every day will pose an interesting challenge.
Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:
Developing the processes required to enable the standardisation of identified activities.
Working alongside our Germany and Benelux JOC (Joint Operations Center) teams to identify best practice and ensure harmonisation across the region.
Taking responsibility and ownership for activities such as coordination of technician training and competence, purchase orders, procurement, material management, and invoice management on behalf of the UK Service Offshore area.
Line management of AOCs (Advanced Operations Coordinators) or OCs (Operations Coordinators) roles as the team grows, coaching and developing in line with SGRE (Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy) management standards.
Assisting in the production and publication of accurate site reports for both internal and external customers
Providing ad hoc data support to enable monthly reporting processes in conjunction with Operations Managers.
Standardising working practices based on best practice and lessons learned

Prior experience within an Operational role with a full understanding of how our service business operates is preferred
Prior supervisory experience is essential
Understanding of standard safety, financial and operational performance metrics and how to influence them
Problem-solving skill with the ability to lead by example
Base Knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft excel would be an an advantage
SAP HANA (High-performance Analytic Appliance) knowledge is an advantage
