About the Role

Our client in the impact, sustainability and mobility sector is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Manager to lead financial strategy, ensure strong financial health, and drive sustainable growth. The role will involve financial planning, compliance, investment management, fundraising strategy, and stakeholder engagement.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned finance professional (5+ years) with a strong understanding of capital structuring, financial modeling, and investment analysis, preferably in impact-driven industries such as climate finance, mobility, or renewable energy. Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Strategy & Capital Planning

• Develop and implement long-term financial strategies aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
• Identify and structure patient capital and climate finance opportunities to support expansion.
• Provide financial insights and risk analysis to executive leadership for data-driven decision-making.

2. Financial Modeling & Business Analysis

• Build and maintain sophisticated financial models, including projections, scenario planning, and investment evaluations.
• Conduct sensitivity analysis and ROI assessments to evaluate business opportunities.
• Monitor financial KPIs and operational efficiencies to drive profitability and performance.

3. Cash Flow, Budgeting & Working Capital Management

• Develop and oversee budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
• Optimize cash flow management, ensuring liquidity for operations and investments.
• Improve working capital efficiency, implementing cost-control measures without compromising growth.

4. Compliance, Risk Management & Internal Controls

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and international accounting standards.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing strong internal controls and governance frameworks.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

5. Investment & Fundraising Strategy

• Support fundraising efforts, including preparing financial documents, due diligence materials, and investor presentations.
• Evaluate investment opportunities, ensuring capital allocation aligns with long-term growth.
• Maintain strong relationships with investors, banks, and financial partners, acting as the primary finance liaison.

6. Performance Management & Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor finance professionals, fostering a high-performance finance team.
• Implement performance-based financial incentives to align employee motivation with business success.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, product, and business development) to align financial goals with business strategy.

Skills & Qualifications

Education & Certification:

✔ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. ✔ Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CFA) is highly preferred.

Experience & Technical Skills:

✔ 5+ years of experience in financial management, investment strategy, or corporate finance. ✔ Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning. ✔ Strong experience in fundraising, capital structuring, and impact investing. ✔ Knowledge of working capital management, cost optimization, and financial risk assessment.
