YOU WILL:

● Size electric motors and drivetrain components against vehicle performance targets, using

vehicle dynamics models covering acceleration, gradeability, range, and duty cycles.

● Produce wiring schematics and support high-voltage and low-voltage harness design,

routing, and connector selection for the drivetrain.

● Support the integration of high-voltage drivetrain components — motor, inverter, DC/DC

converter, junction boxes, and battery interfaces — into the vehicle.

● Collaborate with vehicle system integration to align drivetrain specifications with motor and

vehicle system requirements.

● Engage with suppliers on component specification, selection, and design choices, and

support technical evaluation of their proposals.

● Develop and execute test plans to validate drivetrain performance under various operating

conditions.

● Manage and analyze complex data from drivetrain systems to solve performance issues

effectively.

● Improve our tools and processes used to characterize and calibrate future powertrains.

● Ensure compliance with automotive safety and environmental standards.

YOU HAVE :

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Power and Machines or Electronics.

● Solid understanding of motor control theory, including field-oriented control and the

operating principles of AC drives.

● Strong fundamentals of AC electric motors and drive systems analysis and modeling (ex.

using MATLAB).

● Working knowledge of vehicle dynamics and the fundamentals of motor and drivetrain

sizing.

● Ability to read and produce wiring schematics; exposure to harness design is a plus.

● Familiarity with automotive industry standards and communication protocols such as CAN.

● Interest in system integration and testing. Internship, graduation project, or Formula

Student experience with EV drivetrains is a plus.

● Strong communication and preference for working in teams.

● Excellent command on Arabic and English Language.
