What we’re looking for:

Automotive Mechanical Designer who has strong knowledge in design structure fixation and hands-on experience in mechanical power systems like cooling, heating, hydraulics, A/C, pneumatic,...etc.).

YOU'LL HAVE OWNERSHIP OVER:

  • Designing structural elements, housings and fixations for elements in electric vehicles (motors, controller, steering, ...etc.).
  • Selecting and integrating mechanical systems components like (Oil Pumps, Compressors, Vacuum Pumps,…etc.).
  • Verifying that your designs satisfy product requirements.
  • Perform static, dynamic, CFD and thermal analysis as well as modeling of impact dynamics on design parts.
  • Create Bills-of-Materials for release.
  • Collaborating closely with the team for prototyping and testing your systems and making adjustments as needed from initial research and proof of concept to development of the final product version.
  • Address inadequate product performance if necessary.
  • 2D&3D drawing using SolidWorks & AutoCAD.

You are:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • A mechanical engineer with 0-3 years of experience, preferably an automotive background.
  • Hands-on experience in cooling systems, hydraulic systems & refrigeration.
  • Familiar with design for manufacturing (DFM) and different manufacturing processes, including machining, welding, …etc.
  • Strong knowledge of design softwares (Solidworks, AutoCAD and Ansys).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize projects while tracking own responsibilities.
  • A self-initiator who is naturally energized by new ideas and insights from others, able to prioritize projects, communicate progress, and deliver on time.
