Facilities Senior Specialist

ABOUT SHIFT EV:

YOU’LL WORK ON:
As a Facilities engineer you will play a key role in maintaining the current and supporting the expansion of Shift EV facilities to meet our scaling plans. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of facility operations including execution, contractor management and support in planning. Your goal is to ensure facilities are efficient, safe, and capable of supporting the company's growth. Moreover, your primary responsibility is to create an environment where our employees can work happily, safely, and provide the best possible employee service proactively. YOU'LL HAVE OWNERSHIP OVER:
Safety is our overriding priority and you have to ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
Manage day-to-day operations of facilities, including repairs and inspections to ensure a safe and functional environment.
Create a user-friendly platform for reporting and tracking issues with feedback.
Develop employee satisfaction programs based on needs analysis.
Formulate a proactive approach to sustainable utility and infrastructure management:
Monitor facility-related regulatory issues, contracts, service agreements, and vendor relationships.
Key role for facilities expansion projects and responsible to search and upgrade our existing footprints
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the facilities department.
YOU ARE:
Bachelor's degree in facilities management and having Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background is a plus.
Proven experience (3-5 years) in facilities management preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of facility operations and safety regulations.
Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing external contractors.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Highly motivated and result oriented.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
