You’ll work on:
As a Junior Local Engineering Procurement Engineer/Specialist, you will join the Engineering team on Ensuring that the engineering Requirements will be fulfilled and smooth sourcing activities for the new items.
What you will do
- Conducting a market survey periodically to get the best prices and evaluate the performance of suppliers.
- Updating & maintaining a list of approved suppliers and identifying new suppliers.
- Negotiate with suppliers to get the best package ensuring a short lead time.
- Receiving purchase Requisitions from different functions.
- Prepare quotations from suppliers for multi-source purposes.
- Managing delivery orders until the delivery is complete.
- Properly record suppliers’ databases and purchase order data on the system.
- Ensure that purchase orders are provided in the right place, in the required quantity, in the right quality, and on time.
YOU HAVE:
- Experience in Purchasing & Supply chain.
- Excellent Negotiation Skills and Sourcing Strategies.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask and priorities work.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and good writing skills, with the ability to adapt to various situations and audiences as needed.
- Experience using EPR Systems (SAP Is Preferred)
- Knowledge about the Procurement Cycle.
YOU MUST:
- Have 1-2 years of experience in procurement.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree preferable in mechanical engineering or any relevant field.
- Experience with sheet metal work.
- Demonstrate ownership and have a strong sense of integrity in your work.
- Thrive in dynamic fast-pace and high-pressure situations.
- Be strategic and proactive.
- Be self-aware, flexible, and open-minded.
- Combine analytical thinking, hands-on problem-solving, and a customer-service mindset.
