Your Role – Magic happens when you bring great people together!
· Lead and mentor the Safety, Environment, and Real Estate (SERE) team within the manufacturing plant, fostering a culture of safety and sustainability.
· Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute strategies that enhance operational efficiency while minimizing environmental impact.
· Drive initiatives for sustainability and energy efficiency, aligning with Schneider Electric’s goals for corporate responsibility and environmental stewardship.
· Ensure compliance with local and global safety regulations and environmental standards, implementing best practices across all operations.
· Oversee the management of facility services, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
· Lead the implementation and maintenance of ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety), ISO 50001 (Energy Management), and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) standards, ensuring adherence and continuous improvement.
· Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement in safety and sustainability practices.
· Engage with stakeholders to promote sustainability initiatives and report on progress to senior leadership.
Qualifications
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field.
- Significant experience in safety and environmental management, particularly within a manufacturing setting.
- Proven track record of leadership and team development, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in managing sustainability projects and initiatives, with a focus on reducing the carbon footprint.
- Familiarity with ISO standards, particularly ISO 45001, ISO 50001, and ISO 14001.
