Overview:
Are you an outstanding sales professional who gets energized by finding and closing new business opportunities? Have experience selling market-leading enterprise software to enterprise organizations? We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven individual to join our team as a Enterprise Software Sales Executive. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales strategy, fostering growth, and acquiring new customers for our Smart Building software solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities, building and maintaining C-level relationships, and driving sales deals through orders close. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to make a significant impact on our business which is undergoing expansion across the software lifecycle and embarking on the next stage of our innovation and transformation journey.
Key to your success will be your customer, market and industry experience coupled with application, product, solution knowledge to act as a consultant and trusted advisor for customers’ present and future needs. Demonstrated experience and success within a team selling environment is a must. Our ideal candidate must be a self-starter with an ability to build executive level relationships, align solutions and business strategies, and create the demand to close orders.
Areas of responsibilities
1 Software Offer Specification Consultant role:
Act as customer voice leader for the Software offer management team:
· Through Strategic consulting, identify new use cases, develop the business case and define the functional features required in the market:
ü Identification of key enablers
ü Identification of functional blocks of the platform
ü Identification of key criteria to ensure competitive advantage
ü Feed the team with market trends and key areas of differentiation
· Contribute to the Advisor Apps definition.
ü Be part of the design thinking team that contributes to the evolution of the offer
ü Contribute to test/validate features priority with customers and segment leaders
· Act as primary contact point for Pilot and proof of concept quick development with Customers, coordinating internal efforts and external application
· Assist in the creation of technical material, such as application preferred implementation, technical guides, whitepapers, etc.
2 Software Solutions Deployment Consultant role
· Rapid deployment of Software solutions, Advisors, Data Collectors, Gateways
· Data acquisition, interpretation, assumptions, and outcomes
· Lead customer engagements and solutions presentations
· Ongoing consultation with named; in-service accounts
· New account development consultation
· Quarterly Transformation Steerco Leadership
· High-level of technical expertise in Software solutions: define and validate architectures integrating software and applications
· Collaborate with country architects and Software solutions activity to deliver proof of value
· Maintain and grow knowledge base within the team
3 Change leader for the transformation of the EcoStruxure community to Software business
· Lead the Software skills and capabilities development program of EcoStruxure Plant
· Lead the knowledge management program for software solutions and ensure knowledge transfer within Digital Plant and countries organization, mentoring and coaching EcoStruxure Plant consultants, distributing application notes and success stories
· Create and lead a platform that enables the definition and promotion of solutions that channels all major leads to ensure consistency and success of the proposed solution
· Collect and develop Customer Success stories that are used to accelerate the transformation and increase success with new customers
Reporting & relationship
· Direct reporting to Cluster Industrial Software Leader (Johan Potgieter) within the Anglophone Industrial Software team reporting to the Industry and Segment Vice President (led by Christophe Begat)
· Strong link and shared responsibility on pre-sales activity for Software (Aveva/ Schneider Electric Software) within Anglophone.
· Strong link with Anglophone Services Sales and Services Marketing
Qualifications
Skills requirements
· Tertiary qualification in engineering/computer science
· High-level solutions pre-sales and sales skills
· High-level Communication skills (with Customers C-level and technical responsibilities and internal Schneider Electric stakeholders)
· Coordination of complex projects and topics in an international and multicultural context
· Knowledge of the different types of clienteles/strategic sectors for the company:
ü Industry: CPG, F&B, Pharma, Chemical, MMM and Oil and Gas
ü Infrastructures: Water, Railway, Transport, Ports/Airports.
· Valuable, have experience and knowledge of EcoStruxure solutions from Schneider Electric / AVEVA
ü Modicom
ü Scada
ü Energy Management and Efficiency Software
ü Associated services
· Management, sales and business development of AVEVA Software solutions.

ü Mes/Mom
ü Production Planning and Scheduling
