Why this role matters

As a Civil Superintendent, you will play an important role in ensuring that all civil construction activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements, quality standards, schedules, and HSSE objectives. You will work closely with contractors, engineers, quality teams, and project stakeholders to monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and support the successful delivery of renewable energy infrastructure projects. This is a role for someone who wants to combine construction leadership with purpose, learn in a fast-moving international business, and contribute to the global energy transition.

What you'll be doing

In this role, you will:

  • Supervise and coordinate all civil construction activities, ensuring compliance with quality, schedule, cost, and HSSE requirements.

  • Monitor contractor performance and physical progress, identifying deviations and driving corrective or recovery actions where required.

  • Review and approve construction documentation, including method statements, material specifications, datasheets, and technical submissions.

  • Lead pre-construction meetings and coordinate site activities with contractors and project stakeholders.

  • Support the construction of access roads, drainage systems, culverts, foundations, tracker pile installations, fencing, access gates, and associated civil infrastructure.

  • Manage technical queries and ensure construction is executed using the latest approved drawings, specifications, and procedures.

  • Coordinate quality inspections, audits, NCR follow-up actions, and completion documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Support final inspections, punch-list closure, turnover documentation, and completion of Civil TTO requirements.

Your work will support real decisions, real assets, and real operational outcomes.

What you'll gain

  • Professional growth through ownership, exposure, and meaningful contribution from day one.

  • Hands-on experience in a role where the challenge is energising, fast-moving, meaningful, and built on learning through doing.

  • Exposure to large-scale renewable energy construction projects, including solar PV plants, substations, and associated infrastructure.

  • Opportunity to work alongside experienced project professionals in a diverse and international environment.

What you'll bring

  • Degree, Diploma, or Technical Qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 5 years' experience working within EPC environments on medium to large-scale construction projects.

  • Strong knowledge of civil construction best practices, quality control systems, root cause analysis, and project execution methodologies.

  • Experience supervising contractors and coordinating multidisciplinary construction activities on site.

  • Renewable energy and/or solar PV project experience will be advantageous, particularly experience with tracker systems.

  • Fluent in English, spoken and written.

  • Valid driver's licence.
