You will support projects throughout their lifecycle by managing procurement processes, coordinating logistics activities, administering contracts, and ensuring compliance with governance requirements. Your ability to identify risks, coordinate stakeholders, and maintain operational excellence will directly contribute to delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
What you'll be doing
In this role, you will take ownership of procurement, logistics, and contract coordination activities across assigned projects, including:
- Coordinate procurement and logistics activities throughout project structuring and execution, ensuring compliance with company processes and operating systems
- Lead and manage RFP processes, supplier evaluations, commercial recommendations, and procurement documentation for project requirements
- Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain and logistics risks while maintaining project shipping registers and supporting project controls
- Support supplier and contractor negotiations and coordinate contract administration activities throughout the project lifecycle
- Monitor procurement packages, budgets, contract deliverables, and project milestones to ensure successful project execution
- Manage supplier performance, warranty claims, spare parts procurement, contract variations, and supporting documentation requirements
- Drive procurement compliance, governance requirements, audits, and document management activities across project locations
- Provide project reporting, stakeholder coordination, and continuous improvement support while promoting strong ethics, quality standards, and operational excellence
Your work will support real projects, real operational outcomes, and the continued growth of renewable energy infrastructure across Africa and beyond.
What you'll gain
- Professional growth through ownership, exposure, and meaningful contribution from day one
- Hands-on experience in a role where the challenge is energising, fast-moving, meaningful, and built on learning through doing
- Broader commercial understanding through close collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Exposure to international renewable energy projects across multiple markets and geographies
- Opportunity to develop advanced procurement, logistics, and contract management expertise within a growing business
- Experience working with global suppliers, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams in the energy transition sector
What you'll bring
Experience and qualifications
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business, or a related discipline
- CIPS qualification
- Minimum 5 years' experience in supply chain management on infrastructure, energy, engineering, construction, or related projects
- Minimum 3 years' experience supporting renewable energy construction projects, with solar PV project execution exposure in Africa considered highly advantageous
- Good understanding of accounting and ERP systems such as SAP and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with strong analytical and reporting capabilities
