Main purpose of position
Currently we are looking for a Site Quality Manager Hybrid Plant in [Menya City, Egypt] for Energy Valley project to be part of our global team working together towards our vision – Improving our future. As our ...you will Provide core quality management services that will be used to support the development and project work streams in all their relevant activities. The core support services will include the management of Quality Assurance and Quality Control, Management of quality documents, Maintain and report on Non-conformance register on site and advise Site Manager and Project Manager on quality issues on site as well as taking part in internal audits of the project.
Main responsibilities
- Manage the site quality team and support the corporate quality organization to achieve all quality goals across PV plant, BESS, and HV substation packages.
- Promote compliance with the project Quality Management System (QMS) and foster a strong onsite quality culture.
- Ensure adherence to all contractual, company, grid operator, and local authority requirements.
- Conduct regular audits of contractors and subcontractors.
- Oversee completion and compliance of all quality-related Turnover (TTO) documentation for energization and handover milestones.
- Prepare monthly and biweekly quality reports covering inspection findings, NCR trends, risks, and KPIs.
- Review, approve, and follow up on supplier/subcontractor NCRs, quality documents (ITPs, FAT plans, procedures, method statements), and Quality Plans, ensuring corrective actions and timely distribution.
- Lead or support quality refresher sessions during contractor kick-off meetings to align expectations, standards, and documentation.
Qualifications and competencies
- University degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in quality management for renewable energy projects.
- Broad expertise in process management, inspection, site construction, and installation.
- Proven track record in quality management across complex projects in medium‑ to high‑focus environments.
- Experience in developing and implementing project QA/QC plans.
- Ability to lead specialist peer‑assist and review teams.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English language,(intermediate level may be acceptable).
- Valid driver’s license and strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards.
