Main purpose of position:

Currently we are looking for IT Coordinator in Cairo, Egypt to be part of our global team working together towards our vision – Improving our future.

As our IT Coordinator you will ensure professional and efficient supports day-to-day IT operations across Scatec’s offices and sites in the MENA region mainly Egypt , Tunis and Jordan, The role provides first-line user support, assists with basic systems administration, and coordinates with vendors to ensure smooth functioning of IT equipment and services. This position helps users adopt Scatec’s IT tools and ensures adherence to IT policies and best practices. Occasional local travel to sites may be required for support activities.

Main responsibilities

1. Provide daily IT support (L1/L2) for Microsoft 365, Teams, Windows devices, network connectivity, and other hardware/software issues, ensuring timely resolution and ticket management.
2. Manage user onboarding/offboarding, access provisioning, and user account creation across systems, including Azure AD/Entra ID, and set up devices for new users.
3. Handle device management via Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager, including enrollment, compliance policies, application deployment, and hardware lifecycle management.
4. Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment such as computers, printers, and multifunction devices, along with troubleshooting hardware, connection, and software issues.
5. Maintain documentation related to assets, licenses, procedures, and knowledge base articles, and assist in implementing security policies and configuration standards.
6. Coordinate with vendors for routine maintenance, hardware warranty claims, and basic troubleshooting at Cairo office and regional sites.
7. Monitor systems, escalate issues as needed, and support small improvement tasks and larger projects within the IT team.
8. Participate actively in the global IT team, contribute to policy implementation, and ensure efficient IT operations across the organization.

Qualifications and competencies

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field, with at least 3 years of experience in 1st & 2nd line support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Office 365, Teams, Azure, Intune, iOS, and Android; able to handle multiple priorities independently.
• Experience includes user onboarding, device management, troubleshooting, and system support in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred certifications: Microsoft 365, Azure Fundamentals, CCNA, and ITIL® 4.
