Join Our Team: Technician in Training

We’re looking for a motivated Technician in Training to support our team by assisting with project work, maintenance tasks, technical investigations, and management duties. This is a fantastic opportunity for growth and hands-on learning.

Training and Development (TIT Programme):

1. Administrative Training
   • OHS Act, Lockout, SAP, LMF 11, Bar Charts, Drawings, Rotable Procedures, MSG3 Maintenance Management.
2. Practical Training
   • SKF Bearings (Basic & Intermediate), Problem Solving/RCAs, Welding, Rigging, Hydraulics, Lubrication, Fault Finding.
3. Plant-Specific Equipment
   • Tailored training based on discipline: Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, DCS, Condition Monitoring.
4. Practical Experience
   • Assist Technicians with daily tasks and projects.
   • Step up as Shift Foreman for 3 weeks.
   • Gain leadership experience as Maintenance Support, Foreman, or Superintendent for 3 weeks.

Minimum Requirements:

• Trade test certificate in Fitting, Fitting & Turning, or Electrical H/C.
• NQF 6 - National Diploma N6/S4 in Mechanical or Electrical H/C.
• 5 years post-apprentice experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
