We’re on the lookout for an experienced Chipper Knife Grinderman to provide a basic engineering service i.e.- re-sharpening, grinding, and babbitting of chipper and guillotine knifes according to safe engineering standards.

As a Chipper Knife Grinderman, you will be responsible for:

• Grinding and preparation of norman chipper and guillotine knifes.

• Babbitting and knife preparation.

• Operating knife grinding machinery.

• Ensuring spare sets are properly prepared and readily available.

• Understands the SHEQ requirements of the Section.

• Maintains a high level of good housekeeping in the workplace at all time.

What are we looking for?

• Matric & N2 Engineering (N3 Desirable)
• Two years’ experience in a heavy Engineering Environment.

• Good Planning and Organising Skills.

• Good Communication Skills.
