Condition Monitoring Analyst (HRL 15)

We are hiring!

We’re on the lookout for an experienced Condition Monitoring Analyst to support engineering maintenance and operations personnel with regards to equipment condition and run ability by utilizing vibration analysis, oil analysis and infra-red analysis and to perform laser alignments, balancing, material analysis and thickness testing when required.

As Condition Monitoring Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Perform laser alignments on relevant equipment to within mill standards.
• Perform infra-red scanning and analysis on equipment as and when required.
• Perform vibration readings and analysis on equipment as per scheduled work orders.
• Create notifications with recommendations to Engineering Foreman and Maintenance Engineer.
• Perform ad hoc oil analysis as and when required.
• Perform balancing on equipment as and when required.
• Perform Material analysis on metal as and when required.
• Do thickness tests on steel and paint as and when required.
• Do ultra-sound scanning as and when required.
• Perform mill wide standby.
• Responsible for the care and maintenance of Data Logger, Infra-red camera, laser alignment equipment and Bruker (material analysis machine).

What are we looking for?

• Post Matric Certificate / Diploma / NQF level 3 – 6.
• Recognised Trade Certificate (Manpower/Seta accredited).
• 3 - 5 years’ plant operations experience.
• Valid driving license.
• Pulp and Paper industry experience advantageous.
• SAP knowledge advantageous.
• AMS Suite experience advantageous.
