Global Service Team Manager: Forestry Enterprise Applications (HRL 19)

We’re on the lookout for an experienced Senior IT Applications Manager to develop the Forest Enterprise Application strategy in alignment with business requirements and oversee the delivery of new value add applications solutions and the maintenance and support of established solutions within the Forestry environment.

As a Senior IT Applications Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Development of a Forest Enterprise Application strategy in alignment with business requirements
• Oversight on the delivery of new value add applications solutions and the maintenance and support of established solutions within the Forestry environment.
• Responsible for the analysis, improvement and support of system processes and system requirements.
• Responsible to drive and support the establishment of commercially viable Forestry solutions (Sappi Sphere)
• Global Alignment and harmonisation of identified application development

What are we looking for?

• Bachelors Degree or relevant qualification in Computer Science or Information Management
• Minimum 10 years related business functional area experience
• Application development experience
• Ability to multitask and manage workload with minimal supervision.
• Ability to build relationships with people at all levels, including executive management.
• Ability to think analytically and be a problem solver.
• Manage and train people.
• Very detail oriented with strong follow-up skills.
• Excellent Communication Skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be willing to travel
