Objectives of the Assignment
The GEDSI audit seeks to assess how effectively the CE4HOW project is implementing its GEDSI commitments at, identify inclusion and safeguarding strengths and gaps, and generate evidence-based, practical guidance to improve equity, accountability, and impact for marginalized groups in the remaining project period.

Interested consulting entities that have capacity to deliver this TOR are invited to submit a complete proposal to Bids Consultancy Bids.Consultancy@practicalaction.or.ke with subject line “Consultancy: GEDSI Performance Audit” to reach Practical Action on or before Wednesday, 3rd June 2026.
All information/data provided will be handled with utmost confidentiality and will only be used for recruitment purposes.
Guidelines for Submission
A consulting entity that meets the above requirements and is available within the time limit indicated above should submit the following:
- A technical proposal detailing interpretation of the TOR, proposed methodology including sampling framework, work schedule etc.
- A capability statement demonstrating how the consultants meet the required qualifications and competencies.
- Copies of all relevant Curriculum Vitae (CVs). Only CVs for the specific individuals that will form the proposed team should be annexed to the proposal with the evaluation team outlining previous evaluation experiences and accomplishments; two references (including one from your last client).
- Detailed financial proposal in Kenyan Shillings: If the team consists of several members, the professional fees should be based on clear time allocation by each member to the various activities and all other costs directly related to assignment such as logistics, travel, accommodation, administrative etc.
- Evidence of experience in similar work.
Award Criteria
The evaluation of the quotations will be based on weighing up technical quality (the methodology and experience) as well as the financial proposal.
