Practical Action is an international development organisation with a vision of a world that works better for everyone. Working together with communities and our global partners, we’re developing innovative real-world solutions to build sustainable lives and livelihoods for people living on the frontlines of poverty and climate change. We’re turning surviving into thriving and overcoming injustice, especially for women and vulnerable groups in Africa, Asia and Latin America.

Grid Resilience Through Intelligent Photovoltaic and Storage Phase 2 (GRIPS2), led by Practical Action, is a flagship initiative funded through Accelerate-to-Demonstrate (A2D) Facility which is managed by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) with funding from the UK Government. Implemented in partnership with Gham Power (Nepal) and Swanbarton (UK), the project showcases how cutting-edge technological innovation and clean energy solutions can boost industrial productivity, drive decarbonization, enhance energy security, and strengthen climate resilience in low- and middle-income countries.

As a consortium partner of GRIPS2, Gham Power Nepal Pvt. Ltd. invites sealed bids for “Design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of a 2MW/4MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and associated components.”
