About the Role
As Retail Rotational Supervisor, you'll be responsible for supporting/temporarily managing OAF shops and will assist customers with purchasing Agri-related merchandise through mobile payments. As a hybrid job type, you will be required to travel to multiple rural/town locations to fill in gaps where there are shortages or a need for additional staff. As the retail supervisor, you will manage diverse agricultural products and facilitating mobile payments introduces challenges in ensuring a smooth transition to cashless transactions and tracking inventory levels and preventing losses or overstock situations, which presents a challenge, requiring an inventory management system.
You can explore digital solutions, marketing, and partnerships to enhance the customer experience. Embracing sustainability and promoting eco-friendly agricultural practices aligns with evolving consumer preferences, allowing for positive community engagement and market expansion.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a tidy shopping environment and welcoming atmosphere
- Increase sales with product knowledge and market-driven enthusiasm.
- Restock, organize, and ensure excellent inventory management of all products in the shop.
- Train and process customer payments through mobile payments and adhere to TRA regulations.
- Provide exceptional service to our customers, resulting in repeat visits and long-term brand loyalty
- Create support for One Acre Fund with local leaders (VEOs, agricultural extension officers) by building relationships

Qualifications
Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:
- 1+ year of experience in retail operations in rural contexts. Sales and marketing experience, especially in retail.
- Knowledge in Google Suites (basic technology literacy).
- Knowledge in Swahili and English.
- Diploma in agriculture, marketing or social sciences, business administration, and related.
- Proficiency of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Commit on role rotation to different locations (flexible).
