NTU International is preparing a proposal for the project “Cooperation Facility to Support the Implementation and Programming of EU Action and Team Europe Initiatives in Lesotho.”

In this context, NTU International is establishing a pool of qualified Non-Key Experts (Senior and Junior) to be mobilised on a short-term, on-demand basis during project implementation (48 months, expected start January 2027). Mobilisation will be subject to specific Terms of Reference and approval by the EU Delegation to the Lesotho.

Senior Climate & Environment Expert

Project: Cooperation Facility to Support the Implementation and Programming of EU Action and Team Europe Initiatives in Lesotho

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise on climate resilience, biodiversity and environmental sustainability.
• Conduct climate risk assessments and environmental analyses.
• Support mainstreaming of climate considerations across EU interventions.
• Monitor environmental performance of projects.

Required Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in climate adaptation, environmental management and biodiversity.

Advantage

• Experience in development cooperation projects.
• Experience with EU-funded projects.
