NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EU funded project called: Higher Education System Strengthening Project II – Somalia and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.

The overall objective of this assignment is to strengthen the capacity of the higher education system for enhanced coordination, regulation and sustainability of interventions in Somalia.

Location: Mogadishu, Somalia.

Duration: The intended start date is 1st October 2026 and the period of implementation of the contract will be 36 months from this date.

Non-Key Expert: Training and Capacity-Building Facilitator (junior)

☝️ Minimum Qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, adult‑learning, human resource development or a related field.
  • Familiarity with training‑of‑trainers approaches and adult‑learning methodologies.

☝️Specific professional experience:

  • At least 5 years’ experience designing and facilitating capacity‑building programmes for adult learners, preferably in the education sector.
  • Experience developing training materials and delivering workshops, coaching sessions and mentoring for ministry and university staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to monitor and assess training effectiveness and adapt content to participants’ needs.
  • Experience using virtual or blended‑learning platforms and organising logistics for training and workshops.
