NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EIB funded project called: JETP South Africa Transnet Decarbonisation Framework Loan and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.

Location: South Africa.

Duration: Q3 2026.

Non-Key Expert: Data Warehouse Engineer

☝️ Minimum Qualifications and skills:

• University degree in IT, Finance, Mathematics or related (min equivalent of a Bachelor), web design, data warehousing.
• Proficiency in oral and written English language.

☝️ Minimum General & Specific professional experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the maintenance of data warehouse/data lake tools.
• Good knowledge of database management systems including monitoring and performance tuning (Sybase ASE & IQ, Oracle).
• Strong technical knowledge in administration of ETL tools (such as IBM Infosphere DataStage, Talend, Informatica) and reporting tools (SAP Business Objects Suite or equivalent).
• Experience working with Linux environments, Windows experience an advantage.
• Experience using scripting languages: PowerShell and/or Bash.
• Excellent knowledge of project management principles, methods and practices.
• ITIL/ITSM experience in Change, Release, Incident and Problem Management would be an asset.
