NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EIB funded project called: JETP South Africa Transnet Decarbonisation Framework Loan and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.

Location: South Africa.

Duration: Q3 2026.

Non-Key Expert: Ports Scheme Lead (per Scheme)

☝️ Minimum Qualifications and skills:

• University degree in civil/electrical/mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency in oral and written English language.

☝️ Minimum General & Specific professional experience:

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in port infrastructure, preferably port terminals, dredging works or similar, of which at least 3 years should be preferably in Sub-Saharan African countries.
• Working experience in South Africa is an added advantage.
• Involvement in a minimum of 2 preparatory studies (feasibility studies, detailed design, tender documentation) related to port infrastructure in the past 10 years.
• Involvement in a minimum of 1 port project in a developing country, preferably in Sub-Saharan Africa, financed by EU, EIB or other IFI’s in the past 10 years.
