You will also lead a team of financial and administrative assistants, driving operational efficiency and financial control optimization within the organization

About Us

At M-KOPA, we are committed to driving digital and financial inclusion, and as a Senior Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy in Ghana.

You will have the autonomy to manage the end-to-end financial reporting process, preparing monthly management accounts and annual financial statements in line with IFRS. Your role will involve collaborating closely with various departments to provide insightful financial analysis that will inform key business decisions. Additionally, you will lead a team of finance professionals, driving continuous improvements in operational efficiency and financial controls.

By joining M-KOPA, you will be part of a company that values innovation, accountability, and teamwork, empowering you to make an impact not only in the company but also in the lives of millions of people through our digital financial services. If you are passionate about financial management and strategic decision-making and thrive in an environment that promotes growth and impact, this could be the role for you.

Expertise

We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager with at least 10 years of finance experience, including 3 years in a leadership role, ideally within telecommunications or financial services. You should have a proven track record in preparing financial statements in line with IFRS, managing month-end close processes, and delivering accurate management accounts. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred but not essential.

In this role, you will need to demonstrate a high level of ownership, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to assess financial risks and opportunities while making recommendations to mitigate risks and capitalize on potential opportunities. You should be comfortable leading a team and providing consistent feedback to foster a high-performance culture.

Additionally, strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders are essential. If you are passionate about financial control optimization, team leadership, and making a strategic impact on business growth, this role will provide you with the opportunity to lead a dynamic finance function and contribute to our vision of digital and financial inclusion.
