We are looking for an experienced Business Insights and Strategy Manager to join our team in Kenya.

We’re not merely seeking an operations manager; we’re looking for a strategic consultant to our business leaders in Kenya. Someone eager to work on the front lines of our commercial business and strategy.

You could be an analytical project manager, a commercial insights analyst or someone working in credit (B2C).

In this role, you’ll identify problems, manage analytical workflows, and deliver actionable recommendations and insights to our business leaders in Kenya. You’ll handle multi-source data, design out of the box experiments, test hypotheses, and create impactful presentations and reports for your stakeholders.

Your insights will drive key decisions, as you provide thought leadership and in-depth analysis using tools like SQL, R, and Python. You'll design innovative initiatives to enhance credit performance, working closely with various departments to achieve stellar results.

As a key player, you'll develop and refine financial models, monitor performance metrics, and challenge existing credit management practices. Your reports and presentations will influence senior management and investors, while your innovative approaches will keep M-KOPA at the forefront of the industry.

Expertise

Our expectations are that your CV reflects a rich blend of technical expertise, practical experience and leadership competencies positioning you as a valuable asset in the field of Credit.

  • We’re seeking a candidate with a blend of technical expertise, practical experience, and leadership/advisory in a B2C Kenyan marketed business. Credit exp would be a bonus but is not essential.

  • Showcase your skills in using data from SQL, R, Python, PowerBI, and Excel and through financial analysis produce insightful presentations. Knowledge of lending practices and consumer credit in emerging markets is a plus.

  • To lead and influence General Manager and c-suite leaders in the business, exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills are crucial.
