Job Summary

The primary role of an M-KOPA stock controller is to provide customer and sales team support by managing our stock distribution and assisting customers with troubleshooting and servicing. You will report to the retail team leader.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: You will receive, issue, and maintain stock records, ensuring accurate tracking of stock levels.

  • Reverse Logistics: You will handle phone swaps and phone returns, following the established procedures

  • Sales Support: You will help acquire and upgrade sales, providing necessary support to the sales team.

  • Customer Service: You will log customer issues and inquiries, troubleshoot problems, follow up with customers, and ensure resolution

  • After-Sales Service: You will follow up on phone servicing, contact customers, and ensure customers collect their phones after repairs or servicing.

  • Branding: You will ensure all posters and marketing materials at the depot are in good condition and prominently displayed.

Skills Required

  • Ability to approach tasks with a focus on efficiency and improvement.

  • Excellent presentation, communication, coaching, and people skills.

  • You can plan tasks.

  • You can work calmly in high-pressure situations.

  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using smartphones.

  • Knowledge or experience in front office management.

  • Proficient in using computer applications and software for record-keeping and data management

Experience Required

  • 1 year's experience in customer care or inventory management.

Education Required

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
