Role Description: Legendary Foods Ltd. is looking for a passionate individual to oversee all aspects of human resource practices and processes.
Qualifications and skills
○ A bachelor’s degree in human resource management, business or related field with 3 or more years of work experience in a food processing and manufacturing industry - DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE HR EXPERIENCE OF AT LEAST 3 YEARS
○ Must have strong leadership experience
○ Must have the ability to create a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration, growth, learnings and teamwork
○ Must have excellent listening and negotiation skills
○ Must be knowledgeable in labor law and HR best practices
○ Must know how to process payroll
○ Must have the ability to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
○ Must be people oriented; have good human relationship skills
○ Must have strong communication skills; both oral and written
○ Must have good knowledge of Remuneration, Talent Management, Transformation, Recruitment and Selection, Training and Development, Change Management and Performance Review Management
○ Must have strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
○ Must be able to handle confidential matters with discretion and have a strong sense of integrity
Responsibilities:
o Implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
o Manage the recruitment, selection process and onboarding processes
o Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems and tactics and procedures across the organization
o Nurture a positive working environment, implement and foster company culture that values sustainability, high-performance, high-growth, learning and a conscious approach
o Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
o Organize training and development programs with support of the management
o Manage, mediate and resolve conflicts, grievances, confrontations or disagreements in a constructive manner
o Ensure update and adherence of all personnel administration policies, processes, systems, and procedures
o Provide opportunities for continuous learning in the organization
o Translate and manage the change effort into a step-by-step implementation plan for the organization
o Keep up to date with best HR practices, especially as it relates to the regional context & responsible for implementation of select HR practices
o Liaise with Heads of Department to develop job descriptions and templates for measuring performance for all staff
o Ensure legal compliance through human resource management
o Manage offboarding processes
o Recruit and manage national service personnel engagement with the company
o Oversee and manage health and safety programs as it relates to the team
o Manage administrative tasks of the company such as but not limited to filings with external agencies
Additional desired qualities
o Professional qualification in HR (PHRI or CHIRM)
o Worked in teams with strong education-level diversity
o Experience in more than one country
