Sales Strategy & Execution:
● Design and implement a robust, scalable sales strategy aligned with company growth and production capacity.
● Establish sales targets, territory coverage, pricing strategy, and business development plans.
● Lead and manage all of the company’s sales activities, ensuring accountability through KPIs.
● Identify sales efforts ( within the recycling and different construction sectors and capitalize on new business opportunities to increase sales volume and profitability.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
● Collaborate with Operations teams to align product availability with sales forecasts.
● Work on pricing strategy and go to market approaches.
● Work closely with Finance to develop incentive models and revenue forecasts.
Market Intelligence & Business Development:

● Build strategic partnerships with government stakeholders, impact investors, and ecosystem actors.
● Provide insights to guide product adaptation and innovation based on customer feedback and market demand.
Marketing Strategy & Brand Positioning:
● Own and evolve Kubik’s brand strategy in line with its mission and audience positioning it as a leader in low carbon and affordable building solutions.
● Develop integrated marketing campaigns (digital, print, partnerships) that increase awareness and generate qualified leads.
● Implement integrated marketing campaigns across various channels to promote Kubik's products and services effectively.
● Oversee content marketing, customer case studies, and community engagement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:
● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
● Minimum 10 years of experience, with at least 4 years in a sales or marketing leadership role ideally in manufacturing, construction, or sustainability sectors.
● Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and building brand equity.
● Experience managing cross functional commercial teams and launching products or services at scale.
● Exposure to the public sector, and development-sector sales cycles.
Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational Leadership:
● Drive operational strategy execution in alignment with Kubik’s mission and growth goals.
● Provide regular input and performance reports to the CEO and Board.
● Lead cross-functional operational planning, ensuring integration between departments.
Supply Chain & Logistics Oversight:
● Oversee and optimize end-to-end supply chain processes including sourcing, procurement, warehousing, and distribution across all Kubik sites.
● Collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager to ensure timely, cost-efficient delivery of inputs and outputs to and from operational hubs.
● Ensure logistics systems are responsive to regional supply needs and scalable as new locations are added.
Production & Plant Management:
● Supervise all plant activities to ensure consistent production, quality, and efficiency.
● Support the Plant Manager in driving performance across production, maintenance, and quality teams.
● Align plant output with regional supply chain capacity and demand forecasts.
Product Development & R&D Coordination:
● Guide the Product Manager (R&D) in aligning new product development with market and operational needs. ● Ensure R&D outputs are compatible with scale-up across current and future locations.
● Foster collaboration between product, engineering, and operations teams.
Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):
● Promote a strong safety culture across all operational sites.
● Support the HSE Officer in implementing compliance programs tailored to each region’s context.
● Regularly monitor the HSE risks.
Team Leadership & Development:
● Lead, coach, and develop a geographically distributed operations team.
● Create a strong leadership pipeline and talent development strategy within the department.
● Champion collaboration between Addis-based and regional teams for consistent culture and performance.
Reporting & Budgeting:
● Lead operational budgeting, resource planning, and performance tracking.
● Develop and present performance dashboards and strategic updates to the CEO and Board.

Qualifications & Experience:
● Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related f ield and Master’s degree in a relevant field.
● Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in operational leadership roles including at least 7 years at a senior management level in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
● Demonstrated success leading complex operations across multiple sites, ideally in emerging or fast changing markets.
● Proven ability to build and manage high performance teams in dynamic, fast-paced, and resource constrained settings.
● Strong command of operational systems, supply chain optimization, production planning, and risk management.

Payment Processing & Documentation
- Check payment requests for valid documentation and generate payment letters via Airtable.
- Prepare daily USD requirement letters for currency conversion.
- Prepare purchase vouchers for non-receipt purchases and service payments.
- Follow up on payment settlements and file payment vouchers, bank statements, tax receipts, and supplier invoices.
- Support in verifying supporting documents and payment requests.
Cash Management
- Handle and reconcile office petty cash daily; ensure proper supporting documents and filing.
- Update daily spend report sheet
- Assist in preparing CRVs (Cash Receipt Vouchers) for collections and match to sales receipts.
Tax Support
- Collect WHT (Withholding Tax) receipts from customers.
- Prepare withholding tax receipts upon payment to suppliers.
- Prepare monthly VAT and withholding tax reports.
- Support tax clearance requests and attend visits to the Ministry of Revenue as required.
Inventory
- Participate in inventory counts
Customer & Supplier Management
- Maintain customer and supplier folders; assist in contract and documentation checks.
- Collect receipts from suppliers and service providers
- Support credit collection and follow-up on outstanding customer balances.
Audit & Compliance Support
- Support document audit process: organize vouchers, contracts, and scanned files.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor to support the smooth functioning of the Finance Department.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and Ethiopian tax processes.
- Familiar with Sage 50, Microsoft Excel, and Peachtree accounting.
- Experience handling petty cash, preparing payment documents, and assisting with tax support.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to follow instructions and escalate issues appropriately.
- Exposure to manufacturing or finance departments is a plus.
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting and Finance with a minimum 1–2 years of accounting experience.
- Cash Flow Management: Manage working capital effectively, optimizing cash flow to support day-to-day operations and growth initiatives.
- Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team and ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Accounting Oversight: Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process and develop accurate financial forecasts to support decision-making and goal attainment.
- Risk Management: Assess and mitigate financial risks, including currency exchange rate fluctuations and raw material price volatility.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with banking partners to ensure favorable terms, financing options, and efficient banking services.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Audit and Tax Compliance: Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
- Inventory Management: Coordinate with factory and supply chain team to monitor and optimize inventory levels to balance production needs with working capital requirements.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify areas for cost savings, process improvements, and revenue growth.
- Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency.

Qualification Required :
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA designation preferred).
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of Experience, of which 4 years of experience in managerial positions.
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar senior financial leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
