Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Benin, Edo state, for a Repossession Officer. The Repossession Officer will be responsible for recovering company assets from customers with overdue payments in Edo and neighboring states, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Daily responsibilities include locating clients, assessing recovery situations, retrieving assets, maintaining detailed records, and providing customer feedback to assist in improving payment and service strategies. The role requires close collaboration with team members and other departments.

Qualifications

• Asset Recovery and Repossession skills, including locating and retrieving assets
• Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills for engaging with customers and colleagues
• Attention to Detail and Record-Keeping skills for accurate documentation
• Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution skills to handle challenging recovery situations
• Basic knowledge of Compliance and Regulatory Practices related to asset recovery
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Experience in a similar role is an advantage
• Minimum of a National Diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are a plus
• Proficiency in local language and familiarity with the South South area OF Nigeria is beneficial.
