As Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for the timely procurement and delivery of high quality, cost competitive goods and services in line with demand from different user departments. You shall onboard suppliers and manage the relationship in line with KOKO’s mission and commitment on service delivery to our customers

What You Will Do

  • Drive the procurement process for local sourcing, ensuring speed and delivery within competitive terms
  • Invite, assess, and award/recommend suppliers for tenders, bids, quotations, and proposals inline with set procurement processes
  • On board new suppliers using set supplier evaluation / creation process and manage contract execution in liaison with Supply Chain Department
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with pre-qualified suppliers to ensure services and goods are delivered within cost and on time within stated specifications
  • Monitoring of consumption of parts and materials through historical data from ERP, store records and collaboration with other departments to plan and forecast the requirements and place orders on a timely basis
  • Maintain an up-to-date local suppliers schedule through regular follow up on status of orders
  • Liaise with warehouse teams to share relevant documentation required for the GRN process
  • Maintain customer satisfaction through professional conduct and engagements while ensuring an effective interface with other departmental staff is maintained
  • Ensure that the function operates in accordance with respective Health, Safety and Environmental and company policies and procedures

What You Will Bring to KOKO

  • University degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement or related field
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and vendor relationship management
  • Good knowledge of ERP and excellent excellent skills in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Ownership mindset and customer first attitude
