Field Operations Associate

Kofa is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Field Operations Associate to support the rollout and maintenance of our battery network and swap station installations. This role involves assisting with field operations, working with internal teams and third-party providers, and ensuring the smooth execution of operational tasks.
Field Operations Support:
Assist in identifying and evaluating potential new swap station locations, considering customer needs and operational feasibility.
Assist with the daily coordination of field activities to ensure operations align with company goals and timelines.
Support the installation and maintenance of swap stations, working closely with EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) and O&M (Operations and Maintenance) providers.
Act as a point of contact for third-party providers supporting battery network operations.
Monitoring and Issue Resolution:
Proactively identify and address potential issues or inefficiencies within the battery network and support the Network Management team in issue resolution.
Participate in on-call rotations including P1 incidents resolutions as and when required.
Conduct continuous assessments of swap station sites to ensure they meet operational and safety standards.
Monitor Health & Safety issues in the field and report concerns to supervisors.
Assist in preparing daily and weekly reports on operational activities.
Identify and communicate potential inefficiencies in field operations.
Complete detailed incident reports as required, capturing risks and resolutions.
Maintain electronic records of all completed tasks and operational activities.
Support and Collaboration:
Work with internal R&D and engineering teams to support equipment testing and rollout initiatives.
Act as a liaison between field operations and other internal departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience:
1–2 years of experience in field operations, technical operations, or a related area (entry-level candidates with relevant skills will also be considered).
Familiarity with energy or network operations is a plus but not required.
Valid Class A2 motorbike driver’s license issued by National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA).
Valid Class A2 certification issued by the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) is a plus.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace suite.
Understanding of Health & Safety principles (training will be provided).
Other Requirements:
Willingness to travel to field locations as needed.
Flexibility to participate in on-call rotations
