Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a supply chain strategy to enhance productivity, minimize costs, and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Lead the supply chain team in implementing best practices and tracking performance through agreed-upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Continuously review and update supply chain processes to align with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
- Design and implement an effective inventory management system, selecting the appropriate software platform to meet company needs.
- Plan, manage, and coordinate the sourcing and procurement of materials and supplies to meet business and customer demands.
- Monitor supplier performance, negotiating terms and pricing while maintaining cost-effective practices.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to support the setup, testing, and quality assurance of new products.
- Work with freight forwarders and transportation companies to establish optimal routes, rates, and agreements.
- Oversee the movement of goods from origin to warehouse and across Kofa’s battery network, ensuring timely and accurate tracking.
- Implement and manage logistics strategies, mitigating risks, and addressing supply chain disruptions with contingency plans.
- Act as an advisory member of the product development team, providing insights on the availability and cost of components and materials.
- Support product launches and engineering changes to ensure seamless material and production transitions.
- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing and Finance teams to forecast demand, manage budgets, and align supply chain activities with business goals.
- Predict demand and ensure proactive inventory replenishment to prevent shortages or delays.
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety protocols within the warehouse.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure operational continuity.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
- A minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in supply chain management, logistics, or operations.
- Strong leadership and supervisory abilities, with a proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and supply chain management software.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in managing complex supply chains in a [specific industry, e.g., technology, logistics, or manufacturing] environment.
- Ability to speak Mandarin/Chinese is highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of safety guidelines and regulatory compliance within a warehouse or logistics context.
