Your contribution to the energy transition
You:
-
Execute and/or supervise through internal and external stakeholders, all the activities and tests related to commissioning of the Renewable Energy Plant in compliance with the approved Commissioning Plan, protocols and procedures and ensure that warranty conditions and suppliers obligations are fulfilled -
Supervise the tests and commissioning activities of the plant internal MV grid, support and/or execute all MV switching activities -
Supervise the tests and commissioning activities of grid connection and substations including grid compliance tests (Active power, reactive power, voltage, and frequency test) -
Troubleshoot the systems during the commissioning stage to bring the plant to operation in line with the commissioning schedule -
Supervise the execution of the Provisional Acceptance Tests (Performance Tests) -
Participate and provide support to the preparation & review of project specific Inspection and Test Plans -
Review test and commissioning protocols/ procedures submitted by original equipment manufacturers, product suppliers and system integrators -
Participate in design reviews to ensure that constraints from commissioning have been properly considered in the design package -
Interface with internal and external stakeholders of the project including juwi Construction, Engineering, H&S and Quality to ensure the commissioning activities are completed safely and under the resource and timeline constraints of the project -
Ensure all commissioning related Tests, Reports and Checklists are performed, in accordance with the Quality Plan/ Commissioning Plan, signed, filled, and filed -
Report commissioning activities to the EPC Project Manager of the project and provide reliable redline drawings and configurations for As-Built implementation -
Taking over of the systems or subsystems and managing the handing/taking over process between the construction team, commissioning team and O&M team -
Oversee O&M training, handover process and managing defects liability period issues -
In addition to the duties mentioned above, the job holder is required to carry out other duties that are in essence part of his area of activity, according to his knowledge and abilities

Electrical Engineering Degree or BTech Degree -
Minimum 5 years’ experience in commissioning field -
Read and interpret complex electrical diagrams and schematics is essential -
Experience with Insulation resistance test and related instrumentation and procedure (from 1KV to 10kV) -
Experience with Earth Testing, Step and Touch Potential Tests and continuity tests -
Experience with MV cable withstand test (VLF test) -
Experience with MV/HV energization procedure -
Experience with MV (fixed and withdrawable) switchgear manoeuvre -
Experience in cable fault locating -
Experienced in LOTO procedure -
Knowledge of ORHVS -
Knowledge and Experience on configuring protection relays -
Knowledge to operate testing kits like primary and secondary injection kit, HV voltage test kit -
Testing experience of HV/MV protection relays, breakers, Substations and Transmission line -
Knowledge on PV and BESS testing and commissioning standards -
Knowledge of SCADA systems from different technologies and manufacturers -
Knowledge of Muti-Vendor integration and various communication protocols is a nice to have -
Office package and advance Ms Excel knowledge is a must
