Role Description

The Project Manager: Finance will support both the delivery teams and support function with regards to financial management of projects.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Project reporting, specifically financial reports to project funders
  • Ensuring project compliance with grant funder finance requirements
  • Ensure compliance of procurement of 3rd party contractors in line with funder specific procurement requirements
  • Project funder audit coordination
  • Funding agreements are tracked across our internal systems e.g. Zoho, Xero and Google
  • Main liaison for project financial performance across internal and external stakeholders
  • Supporting project budget tracking and liaising with finance and programme managers on variances

Required Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Attributes

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 5 years’ relevant work experience
  • Project management training
  • Experience in project management and execution
  • Experience in project monitoring and evaluation
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with confidence in both formal and informal public
    speaking engagements
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organised and efficient.
  • Good people skills – comfortable developing relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proficient in standard software tools such as MS Word, Excel.
  • Purpose-driven and aligned to our organisations values.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
