Key Responsibilities
- Work with senior management across Globeleq to drive the strategic planning process and set value creation priorities for operating assets. This includes establishing timelines and processes and supporting teams to ensure effective execution of agreed priorities;
- Act as lead commercial support to MD AM & Operations, including scenario analysis to inform decision-making, applying a knowledge of value drivers and levers;
- Support the MD AM & Operations and Group Finance develop the Annual Operational Plan budgets and assumptions including supporting asset teams with deep dives on capex, major maintenance or continuous improvement plans; and
- Project manage value optimization efforts, including piloting projects with a portfolio effect, and tracking and supporting value initiatives across the portfolio; and
- Work closely with the Group Business Finance function to review and update inputs for operational and enterprise financial models used to value the business.
- Perform critical review and analysis of information provided from the operational assets, validate data accuracy, prepare key metric dashboards and analysis to track business performance and support decision making;
- Identify and recommend responses to operational problems, challenges, or opportunities;
- Take ownership of the monthly business operations section of the Management Information report; and
- Create and maintain systems and processes to streamline operations, whilst continually reviewing areas for improvement.
- Ensure clear actions from meetings are documented, communicated, actioned and followed up with relevant stakeholders;
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders;
- Collaborate and improve interaction across Group Finance, Legal, Operations and Business Development team to improve alignment towards strategic goals; and
- Ensure participants are prepared for executive meetings, including advance distribution of discussion documents (e.g. board meetings).
- Able to support asset teams manage compliance with financing terms, optimising financing arrangements, and Lender management (consents, waivers, and distributions).
- Assist in the preparation of board materials;
- Work closely with the MD: AM and Operations in preparing the agenda for meetings, moderating meeting participants and drafting reports and correspondence as required;
- Provide overall MD: AM and Operations support including managing priorities, developing analytical insights, providing updates on the progress of specific projects and maintenance outages and monitoring/reporting on operational and financial KPIs.

- Excellent facilitation skills – skills to guide and direct objectives at meetings, strategic planning sessions etc;
- Execution and results-focused, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, fluid environment;

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance with a preference for a commercial qualification including an MBA, Masters in Finance or CFA Charter.
- Minimum of seven years’ professional experience, from an operation, asset management, or investment banking role with exposure to project finance and the infrastructure and power sector.
- Exposure to contract, contract negotiation and dispute.
- Excellent MS Office suite experience, particularly with Excel, Word and PowerPoint (e.g. financial models and presentations)
- Experience with report writing and presentations to senior leaders
