As the Manufacturing Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing facility. To coordinate, plan, and direct all the activities that go into the production process. The Manufacturing Manager has the responsibility of running the entire plant of the manufacturing process.


Reporting to the General Manager: Production

Key Responsibilities:

Efficiency

  • Analyze production data and optimize for efficiency.
  • Direct an efficient layout of equipment and flow of materials.

Safety

  • Ensure workers and equipment meet performance and safety requirements.
  • Set up the machines and a safe environment for production.

Training

  • Recruit, train, and assess the performance of manufacturing employees.

Supervision

  • Supervise staff and delegate tasks to employees.
  • Ensure production stays on schedule.
  • Assure products meet quality standards.
  • Oversee the quality assurance of produced materials or goods.

Communication

  • Communicate with other departments, such , HR department to recruit new workers, or the logistics department to ensure the delivery of products.

Reporting

  • Write production reports.

Projects and Goals

  • Manage the workflow for a production project.
  • Establish goals for production and coordinate a plan to meet those goals.

Essential Requirements:

  • Grade 12.
  • Bachelors degree in manufacturing, business, or engineering.
  • Prior management or manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Excellent team-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional team members.
  • Technical competencies in manufacturing (e.g., technical drawings, blueprints, CAD/CAM)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other industry software.
  • Lead the Fabrication team and ensure that daily and weekly targets are met.
  • Problem solving and decision-making.
  • Maintenance of machines.
  • Excellent Organizational and leadership skills.
  • Effectively Manage Interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • Ability to work well in a team and on your own.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

High work ethic, dependable and strong attention to detail.

  • Previous work experience and knowledge with aluminium.
  • Ability to respond well to criticism and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Ability to communicate and work across different cultures and social groups.
  • Ability to work well in a pressurized environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to manage various projects and tasks.
  • Strong passion for work
