Leveraging on its strong positions, the BU is developing its presence in renewable energies, in the gas value chain and in energy efficiency services.

Objective

The HRBP is responsible for the management of the Human Resources, Administration government relations, at engie, in line with the strategy and objectives of the company, to develop a best in class support to other departments.

Reporting Line

The HRBP will report to the Head of Business Services.

Responsibilities

  • Execute full recruitment cycle (sourcing, screening, shortlisting, interviewing, and selection) in line with approved manpower plans.
  • Develop and maintain an updated talent pool of qualified Saudi and expat candidates across all critical functions.
  • Lead the onboarding and induction process ensuring smooth integration of new hires.
  • Coordinate with GRO for timely issuance of visas, work permits, and onboarding documentation.
  • Implement HR policies, procedures, and processes in alignment with Saudi Labor Law and ENGIE’s internal policies.
  • Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR rules, policies, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Monitor HR processes for compliance and escalate deviations to the Head of Business Services.
  • Ensure proper handling of employee grievances, conflict resolution, and ethics concerns.
  • Oversee monthly payroll preparation and validation activities ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Coordinate salary changes, promotions, allowances, deductions, overtime, and all payroll-related transactions.
  • Support the annual salary increment and bonus cycles by preparing data, benchmarking, and ensuring documentation accuracy.
  • Ensure alignment with ENGIE’s C&B framework and statutory regulations.
  • Administer the entire Performance Management cycle (goal setting, mid-year review, annual appraisal).
  • Ensure timely submission and quality of appraisals across all departments.
  • Support succession planning by tracking talent pipelines and gathering competency data.
  • Collaborate with managers to identify training needs and support the creation of annual training plans.
  • Coordinate with external training providers and ensure compliance with procurement requirements.
  • Track training attendance, evaluate training effectiveness, and maintain training records.
  • Follow up with departments to improve participation, especially from Operations & Maintenance teams.
  • Maintain and update employee information and HR processes within SEZAME and other internal systems.
  • Promote increased adoption of system functionalities across departments.
  • Support implementation or roll-out of HR modules in new entities.
  • Work closely with GRO to ensure timely processing of visas, Iqamas, renewals, GOSI updates, QIWA requirements, and other government transactions.
  • Ensure all employee records comply with statutory obligations and internal controls.
  • Support execution of employee engagement initiatives and events to strengthen culture and motivation.
  • Assist in internal communication activities such as notices, announcements, and contribution to newsletters.
  • Coordinate staff welfare, recognition programs, and social events.
  • Assist the Head of Business Services in implementing CSR programs aligned with local community needs.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver CSR activities effectively.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, files, and databases with confidentiality and integrity.
  • Prepare HR and Admin reports for management, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Track departmental KPIs and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
  • Supervise HR, Admin, and GR team members in day-to-day tasks and provide operational guidance.
  • Manage team work schedules, attendance, and leave planning to ensure continuity of services.
  • Support in developing junior team members’ skills and professional growth.
  • Assist in preparing annual HR and Admin budgets by providing accurate data and forecasts.
  • Monitor costs related to HR and Admin functions and highlight variances to management.
  • Support cost-optimization and efficiency initiatives.
  • Follow up on localization requirements for the entity and ensure timely updates in QIWA, GOSI, and other systems.
  • Identify suitable Saudi talent to support Saudization objectives and maintain compliance with statutory targets.

Experience

• 10 years of business experience of which at least 5 years in HR & Management

• Experience of working in an international environment, with a knowledge/awareness of issues relating to secondments, work permits, visas etc…

• Proven experience of recruitment and selection

• Proven management experience with the ability to embrace new initiatives

• Proven experience in training, development & performance management

• Exposure to internal control principles

Education

• MBA degree, CIPD qualified, University degree or equivalent

Language

• Fluentd in English

• Arabic is a plus
