Building Services Engineer (1 year Contract)
Responsibilities
-
Serve as the central point of command within Fault Management Centre (FMC), coordinating responses to critical system issues and managing communications with relevant stakeholders.

Identify the root cause for alarm/alert generated from the monitoring workstations.

Manage and lead a team of shift technicians in facility management and operation of the assigned site.

Plan and execute with relevant teams or contractors of the corrective maintenance.

Provide positive and professional working relationship with internal team and stakeholders/clients.

Work collaboratively as part of a team within the FMC and with other departments.

Follow up on abnormalities or fault detected from the use of BMS/working monitoring workstations (critical system such as HVAC, Electrical, Fire Alarm, etc) on a daily basis.

Collaborate and communicate effectively all facilities team, providing updates on system health.

Track and analyze recurring faults or issues in BMS and other monitoring systems to identify patterns.

Use trend date to provide insights on system vulnerabilities and potential areas for improvement.

Work with preventive maintenance team to implement preventive measures to reduce fault occurrence
Requirements
-
Degree / Diploma in Engineering / Facilities Management or related field

Minimum 3 to 5 years' relevant experience in building or facilities management, preferably with exposure to BMS, HVAC, Electrical, and Fire Alarm systems

Strong technical troubleshooting skills and ability to quickly diagnose faults

Ability to work independently and response to incidents calmly and efficiently

Willingness to work in shift patterns

Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behaviors
