The Role
We’re hiring an AI Lead to drive our next phase of growth. This is an interim 6–12 month role (part-time or full-time) designed for an experienced builder, with the opportunity to evolve into a Founding CTO role as we scale.

What you’ll do

• Build AI-powered evaluation tools (image-based diagnostics, condition scoring).
  
• Automate workflows across pricing, refurbishment, and logistics.
  
• Prototype and deploy solutions directly into operations—hands-on, fast, scrappy.
  
• Collaborate with the founding team on technical strategy and IP.
  
• Explore AI-driven customer experience opportunities (chatbots, recommendation engines).
  

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience building and deploying AI/ML solutions (LLMs, computer vision, data pipelines).
  
• Comfort working in scrappy, startup environments.
  
• Ability to balance fast prototyping with scalable architecture.
  
• Bonus: background in marketplaces, e-commerce, or circular economy.

📍 Location: Nairobi preferred; remote possible with strong commitment
