About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile Business Analyst to serve as a strategic right hand to the executive team. This person will act as a generalist with Chief of Staff-style responsibilities, ensuring effective coordination across teams, managing internal operations and projects, and supporting executive decision-making. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role reporting to the CEO, with dotted-line collaboration with Finance, HR, and field teams. You will also provide oversight of a part-time Executive Assistant who manages core administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and track key priorities, projects, and follow-ups for the CEO.
  • Prepare briefing materials, memos, and reports to support leadership decision-making.
  • Lead internal communication between executive leadership and departmental heads.
  • Provide analytical input on business operations, strategy, and performance.

2. People & HR Coordination

  • Oversee the end-to-end hiring process in coordination with the part-time EA and hiring managers.
  • Maintain and update employee records; ensure HR policies are understood and consistently applied.
  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires.
  • Support culture-building initiatives and quarterly team feedback processes.

3. Project Management & Execution

  • Drive implementation of cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Track KPIs, timelines, and deliverables to ensure execution across departments.
  • Facilitate regular check-ins with departments and produce progress dashboards or status updates.

4. Finance & Procurement Oversight

  • Liaise with the Finance team to track budgets, spending, and compliance.
  • Support vendor and procurement tracking processes to ensure timely execution.
  • Analyze operational data to identify cost efficiencies and process improvement opportunities.

5. Field Operations & Logistics Coordination

  • Coordinate with field teams in Malindi to streamline logistics, supply chain, and reporting.
  • Ensure smooth communication and planning for site visits, events, and stakeholder engagements.

Candidate Profile

  • 5+ years’ experience in a generalist business role (project management, HR ops, or strategy).
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with a proactive, execution-oriented mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across teams and manage cross-functional projects.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Comfort with data analysis, dashboards, and business reporting.
