d.light is a global provider of solar-powered products and Pay-As-You-Go (PayGo) consumer financing, on a mission to make clean, affordable and reliable energy and essential household products accessible to underserved communities. Operating in Kenya since 2011, d.light's PayGo model allows customers to pay for life-changing products in small, manageable installments instead of a large upfront cost. Building on this trusted distribution and financing infrastructure, d.light now offers affordable, finance-enabled laptops together with the Endless OS learning and productivity ecosystem.
Endless OS is an intuitive operating system built for emerging markets. Designed to work reliably even without a steady internet connection, it comes preloaded with offline learning content, productivity tools and creative apps so customers can start learning, working and creating right out of the box, with or without connectivity.
This is a field-based sales role created to lead a consultative sales journey for d.light's laptop proposition. As the main point of contact for each customer, the Specialist will guide them from their first conversation all the way through to purchase and beyond understanding their needs, demonstrating the laptop hands-on, and making sure they feel confident using their new device from day one. Prior experience selling laptops, other consumer electronics or software products, or a background in training and education will be a strong advantage in building fast, credible relationships with customers.
