The job holder will be responsible for the overall growth of the region, as well as day to day responsibilities, including sales & marketing, stock management, credit and debt management, market share, product growth & brand development, increased revenue & profits and overall administration.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Lead and create a climate and culture consistent with d.light i.Hope values - attracts, retains and motivates top quality talent in the region.
• Have full P&L responsibility for the region through attainment of set business targets (revenue, PBT, EBIDTA and SKU target) and cost management initiatives,
• Manage the credit collection management – the role will ensure maintaining a high quality credit portfolio in the region, with a focus on ensuring high quality customer acquisition and customer-care post sale through excellent after-sales services and support for in-field collections teams when repossessions or in-person follow-ups to defaulting customers are required.
• Inventory management for the region to ensure stock / sales ratios in the trade and optimal inventory balancing, stock reporting accuracy and no stock losses; ensure on-time payments and collections from local distributors for inventory.
• Business & distribution development will involve prospecting for potential clients and converting into increased business revenues, creating a robust pipeline of opportunities in existing market through various go-to market channels (retailers, distributors and alternative channels),
• Implement below-the-line marketing initiatives in the region by ensuring excellence in execution and positive ROI on all marketing activities.
• Stakeholder management as the job holder will be the first point of contact for all stakeholders in the designated region – this will include all statutory bodies, local contracted vendors.

Requirements
Desired Skills and Experience
• Demonstrated track record of High Integrity and alignment to d.light’s i.Hope values.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in sales & marketing. Graduate degree in a related field is desirable,
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales and credit management and managing a P&L Center with demonstrated success as a senior business leader working with a cross-culture team preferably in the Fast Moving & Consumer Goods, Microfinance or Telecom sector,
• Demonstrate the ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity (utilization),
• Strong mindset for continuous improvement and meeting or exceeding expectations and able to demonstrate complete discretion and confidentiality.
